Ocean Place offers all sorts of “spoil me” vacation amenities – a full-service European spa, beach locker rooms, concierge service, outdoor and indoor swimming pools with whirlpools, outdoor dining and tiki bar with ocean views…the list goes on and on. But let’s face it – my focus is the food! Executive Chef Michael Giletto is bringing his passion, style and amazing talent to Ocean Place Resort & Spa – and guests will be thrilled by the new culinary offerings…all with an ocean view!

Chef Giletto focuses on exquisite cuisine prepared using the freshest local ingredients. “The style of my food reflects exquisite, sophisticated, contemporary, American cuisine with Mediterranean influences,” says Chef Giletto. “I focus on locally-grown products, seasonal ingredients, impeccable presentation, and cutting-edge menu choices to create a truly memorable dining experience.”
Here is just a small sampling of the amazing new tastes coming to Ocean Place Resort & Spa in the coming weeks:
Oysters on the half shell with coriander flowers, served with a spicy barbecue sauce
Seared pork tenderloin, baby vegetables, truffled potato croquette, pan jus
Mini lobster pot - clams, scallop, shrimp, lobster, tuna, mussels
Baby crudite - turnip, carrot, red onion, pequeno melon, white onion, cucumber - served with champagne dipping sauce
NY strip, farm fresh vegetables, caramelized onions, bacon
Whether you opt for fine dining at Palm Court, a casual meal in the Ocean View Lounge, grilled delicacies at the Terrace Grill, a light meal at the pool bar, or the ultimate experience with private beach dining, Chef Giletto’s creations are not to be missed! I believe that dining at the Ocean Place Resort and Spa will become a feature attraction in Long Branch, for both hotel guests and local diners alike. Chef Giletto’s incredible culinary talent is one of the Ocean Place Resort & Spa’s best assets, along with its beautiful accommodations, luxurious spa, and stunning ocean views. His new menus will be rolling out at Ocean Place over the coming weeks…and if you see that seared pork tenderloin on the menu, be sure to order it – it is unbelievable!!
